All battles have to be fought on the Hard Difficulty.
Both Musou Mode and Free Mode are acceptable.
After enemy supply teams appear or precious item reports appear, you can go to the past message list and check the message and the location.

Precious item will stay at the same spot.
Supply team will move. Using the map on the top right of the screen, you can track the movement of the supply team by keeping an eye on the small group of red dots that appeared when the supply team appearance message appeared. You need to catch up with the supply team as quickly as you can because if they reach a troop entry point or if they are eliminated by your allies, the item will be lost.

Precious item will be found in a wooden box, break the box to retrieve the weapon.
Supply team will be led by a supply team captain, defeat the captain to retrieve the item.

Red - Flame - Much like Fire Arrows, FEAs cause the enemy to catch on fire, which continues to burn them after the attack, causing even more damage. Most of the activators are SSSST, which knocks the enemy into the air. If you didn't know, it's possible to pull of an infinite combo by repeatedly performing the SSSST combo. Once the enemy is in the air (and assuming your character's attack speed is decent), you can attack them and perform another SSSST combo. Lather, Rinse, Repeat for major damage. Adding the Flame Element to this combo makes it even better. Naturally, since SSSST usually triggers the Flame Element, the Flame Element is most useful against single officers and not groups.

Blue - Thunder - Lightning attacks are rather rare. The Lightning Element is useful only when the enemy slams down into the ground, which explains why Lightning is common in SSSSTT. Of course, there are a couple of LEAs that are long-range (!). Lightning isn't really all that useful in one-on-one battles, but can help do damage to crowds. Besides, it's better than no Element at all.

Purple - Instant Death - THE best Element in the game, in my opinion, DEAs cause instant death for any enemy that you make contact with. Best of all, even Gate Captains and Guards are susceptible to instant death. For higher level officers, DEAs don't cause instand death, but still cause a MASSIVE amount of damage. Of course, the Death Element is best used on Hard Mode, where enemies almost always take more than one hit to defeat.

Elemental attacks are activated by doing the characters' combos, and the number of combo is different depending on the character, each character's elemental attack is activated by a different combo, either SSSST or SSSSST, or sometimes even ST (note:  all elemental combinations are shown with the weapon)

Easy 4th Weapon Retrieval Trick:  ||Top||  ||On Page||
Some fourth weapon appearances are time limited, and could be missed if you are not quick enough to get to it. Here is a convenient trick to avoid that.
Start a game on 2 player cooperation mode, 1P as the 4th weapon
retrieving character and 2P as the character you want to play with. At the beginning of the game, place 1P near the 4th weapon appearance location or a safe place near the 4th weapon appearance location and leave him there. Start playing the stage using 2P and fulfill the 4th weapon appearance requirements. When the 4th weapon appears, switch back to controlling 1P and retrieve the precious item conveniently located nearby.

Method: Defeat Kakouton (Xiahou Dun) and Chouryou (Zhang Liao),
Sousou (Cao Cao) backup troops appear event, Ryuubi (Liu Bei) calls for help, ride a horse and go near Ryuubi (Liu Bei), Chou-Un (Zhao Yun) announces his presence event, defeat Choukou (Zhang He).

Play at Chang Ban, kill Xiahou Dun & Zhang Liao in 5 minutes or else the cutscene of Cao Cao & the backup troops appear and you will not beable to get his 4th weapon, next ride a horse & go to or near Liu Bei. A cutscene with Zhao Yun happen & kill Zhang He then the suppy team will appear near the gate southwest of Zhang He start point.

Method: Meet with enemies on the Chouhan Bridge, Chouhi (Zhang Fei) yell event, defeat Kakouton (Xiahou Dun) and Kakou-En (Xiahou Yuan).

Play at Chang Ban, From the start Run Straight up to Xiahou Dun and defeat. Take his house and go defeat Xiahou Yuan. next is the tricky part you have to get the cut scene of  Zhang Fei yell to do that lure some troops to the bridge. Simply run up to them and get there attention then after that run back to the bridge to fulfill the event.  After a cut scene you should get the message informing you that the supply team as a arrive. The supply team is near the south gate where Xu Zhu. They will travels northward, Kill the supply team Capt. and be sure to pick up the item he drop.

Play at Tong Gate, wait until Xu Huangs show up and Cao Cao to move to the north of Tong Gate, A cut scene will happend Cao Cao asking han shi to help him, then a other cutscene will happend where a soldier come up to Ma Chao to tell him about han shi then wait until han change side and kill him then a Supply team will show up near the middle of the map so get there as fast as you can kill the Supply Team Cpat. and get the weapon.

Comments: Wei Yan's Double Comet is quite a rarity in that it has TWO DEAs. Unfortunately, neither DEA is all that great. His SSSST launches his opponent the air, which means it has extrelemy limited reach. It's most useful for infinite combos (SSSST, SSSST, SSSST...) against generals. Usually damage will drop when you perform an inf. combo, but with the Death Element attached, you should still be able to inflict a lot of damage. 

Wei Yan's SSSSSTTT isn't really worth it. Wei Yan will spin his weapon over his head. The Death Element will only be activated on the final press of T, and by then the other Ts would have pushed the enemies back. You MUST press T 3 times or the Death Element won't be activated.

Location: On top of the hill Bashyoku (Ma Su) made camp

Method: Wait for Bashyoku (Ma Su) to move up the hill on his own, enemy surprise attack and surround Bashyoku (Ma Su), defeat the enemy general attacking Bashyoku (Ma Su) to rescue him, defeat all enemy generals except Shiba-Yi (Sima Yi), enter Shiba-Yi (Sima Yi) camp.

Play at Jie Ting, Ma Su will head up the mountain path follow, there is a Wei ambush party  waiting for him at the bottom of the mountain kill the Xia Pi then Ma Su will head down the mountain. Kill all the generals except Sima Yi head into his camp and the special item report is on the mountain where Ma Su got ambushed.

Comments: One of the better DEAs, Cao Cao moves forward while repeatedly slashing. Limited reach, but rather long-range (compared to other DEAs, anyway). Very useful against both generals and groups. Also note that it's possible to rotate Cao Cao while he performs his DEA, but only if he doesn't hit anyone (this will help you move Cao Cao towards an enemy). The Death Element will be activated the moment you first press T.

Comments: What's this? A DEA combo not involving SSSSST??? Just the fact that you don't have to perform a long combo to activate the Death Element makes this one of the best DEAs in the game. His SSST can cause 2 hits, but does have rather limited range and reach. Best used for crowd control, and is especially useful on Hard Mode.

Method: With either Ryomou (Lu Meng) or Kan-nei (Gan Ning) still alive, break through the Sekihei Hachijin Maze and defeat Shokatsuryou (Zhuge Liang). 

Play at Yi Ling, kill Wei Yan then help your officer out (Zhu Ran) to burn the camp of Shu. If you can't find him press start and go to history and look for his name and they will show you where he is. Next go to the stone warriors maze kill everyone in the maze then when you get out rush it Zhuge Liang and kill him next the special item report appear, go back to the stone warriors maze and go to the northeast  section to get the weapon its in a box you can not miss it.

Comments: Taishi Ci's first LEA is rather awkward to use, but much easier to activate than the SSSSTTs. Taishi Ci uses his large Rods (hey now, stop thinking that way) to knock the enemies far back. Since SSST hits hard, it causes the enemy to slam into the ground and spread Lightning. 

For his second LEA, you MUST press T twice.

Comments: Xiao Qiao's SSSSSTTTTT is very much like her Musou Attack. You have a limited amount of control of her as she moves (if she doesn't hit anyone), which helps her to clear out crowds. However, if you get a clean hit on a general, you can combo multiple Death Element hits, racking up massive damage! The Death Element is activated as soon as you hit T.

Lu Bu's SSSSSTTT causes him to strike repeatedly with his Halberd, but the Lightning Element is only activated after the final hit.

Method: Defeat Chouhi (Zhang Fei), Kan-U (Guan Yu), Ryuubi (Liu Bei),

Play at Hu Lao Gate kill, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Liu Bei, and Gongsun Zan. A Supply Team will appear to the north of Cao Cao position, quickly chase them down and kill the supply team Capt. and get the item.  (Dong Zhou Force)

Play at Namman campaign, kill all the enemy general on the east side (Ma Chao, Zhang Yi, and Ma Dai) or all the  enemy general on the west side (Zhang Fei, Zhang Bao, and Guan Xing) then a special item report go off and the item location is west of the blocking mountain at the center of the map.    (Meng Huo Force) Vs.  (Shu Force)

Comments: Nu Wa may be a goddess (and one of the best characters in the game), but her DEA is severely lacking. You can rotate her SSSSSTT if she doesn't hit anyone initially, which is not unlike her Musou Attack, but the Death Element is activated only at the final press of T, in which she'll lunge with her Rapier. Not too useful for crowds, but very effective against generals.
